Make It: Paper Flower Pin DIY

I made these paper blossom pins a while back for something that never materialized. And I figured, why not share them hither at present. These lilliputian guys are super easy to make and yous can use them in lots of different ways. Here's how to make your own…

Supplies:

old catalogs, bit paper, or wallpaper samples // scissors // craft glue // pin dorsum

Step past Step:

  1. Stack up several pieces of paper and cut them into circles that are the same size. Repeat this process until you take at least 7-10 circles (per flower). Also, cut a much smaller circle (but i) for the center of the flower. Set minor circle aside for now.
  2. Side by side, create petals by cutting slits about half fashion in toward the center of the circle, all the way around the edges.
  3. Echo process with all circles (except for tiny circle that will get in the eye at the end).
  4. Glue each circumvolve together with a dab of glue in the center, stacking each circle on superlative of the side by side.
  5. One time dry, pull your newly formed petals upward with your fingers – kind of ruffling the petals so they are more three dimensional. Side by side, glue your tiny circle in the heart of the blossom.
  6. Plow your flower over and gum your pivot dorsum on. Wait for it to dry and you lot are done! Ready to wear.

Think you'll brand a few of these? I'll but warn y'all now, they are kind of addictive once you get going. I started using them equally souvenir toppers because I take and then many.
